ELATION KM202
The KM 202 studio condenser microphone for bass drum group is a result of a long term research in the bass drum acoustic nature. Dynamic microphones usually used for inner bass drum micing can not compete with the condenser microphone precision and reliability. One of the most serious obstacles, so far kept the condensers away from using them inside the bass drum, was the high distortion rate caused by extreme SPL (sound pressure level). We made it possible for the KM 202 to work in bass drum acoustic conditions and to be capable of reproducing a distortion-free signal even in sound fields of up to 170 dB. The KM 202 features special capsule system, carefully shaped frequency response, that is perfectly tuned to reproduce the lowest bass bottom as well as blasting peak. The KM 202 bass drum group condenser is the one of a kind condenser mic.
